Stock market crash or when money kills you

The stock market in China is eroding. People loose ever so much money in ever such a short period of time.

Nearly a quarter of investors say that the value of their investments has fallen by more than 50 percent since the beginning of the year amid falling stock prices. 23.8 percent of the 42,000 people polled by sina said that they “had suffered a loss of over 50 percent and dare not check their accounts”.

Investors and bankers feared already since some months that this would happen soon in China. It is a stock bubble which seems to explode.

Its not my interest to analyse this. I am not the expert for this. But I am an expert for human relationship and communication. Let me tell you first a very personal story. When we …………..

Reading emotions is worth money

A lately published research says that there’s a quite an obvious connection between emotional recognition and annual income. This does not mean that only people with a high annual income have an emotional competence or emotional intelligence. If you judge from the other way round of course you as a manager or business man are clever enough to earn more money if you’re able to rely on your emotional competence.

And yet on the other hand …………….

One´s own body as private, emotional currency

Do you know what a temporary boy-friend is? Have a look at the link at the end of this post. I came across this information some weeks ago: A young woman, looking for a boy-friend, to accompany her on her journey through China. To be the travel-partner was meant to accompany her and to pay for her. The young woman said that she did not have any income and she did not want to “suffer” during her tours. So, she offered herself “all day and to spent the night with him”.

This weird story and weird offer was a fake.

Why do I post this fake? Even if this did not happen in reality, the fantasy ……….

Money means trust, money is sexy

It seems to be the same everywhere in the world. Wherever you show up with typical status symbols just like an expensive Italian car (like Lamborghini, Ferrari and so) you win the game.

Some days ago there was a little test being made in China. Lamborghini driver with a six-hundred-thousand-dollar car stopped at the pavement and asked a woman if she ……..

“Rich is……….

the one who is satisfied and happy”

(Greek Philosopher 384-322 before Christ)

….I often think of this when regarding the relationship of many people in China and the Western world towards money and materialism in their daily life. I think of how much this characterizes our life and the way how people relate to each other.

I at the same time realize that many especially young people care for their hope, not to be too materialistic, not to be ruled by money.

And I also realize how hard but also how pleasant this job is. 🙂

Money, money, money – love?

A colleague of mine told me a little story about the love-relationship between a Chinese woman and a German teacher. Both were really in love with each other. As they wanted to celebrate a special anniversary they decided to go to Munich for a weekend-trip. They had a wonderful time there. They both enjoyed the scenery, the walks through the ancient part of town, the delicious meals in various typical Bavarian restaurants and of course felt more in love then before.

The colleague of mine than explained a strange behavior of the Chinese woman. During the day-time when they were in Munich she put down some notes into a little notebook. Notes about what they’ve bought, what they’ve eaten, where they’ve lived and so on. She noted this and counted the specific price, e.g. having dinner, having bought some ice-cream, having bought a new dress and so on. In the evening she summarized all the costs and smiled ……….
